  1. Randall mailed you a free copy of his book? Seriously?

  2. Retrograde. Wait, can we stop doing this now?

  3. wow, classy of them. did you ask for a copy or did they do it on their own accord?

  4. You know, I used to think that complaints here about Randall's art going downhill were unjustified, and then I saw this comic. Lord.

  5. This makes you an OFFICIAL CRITIC now! Many congratulations!

  6. Er. #647, that is. In case I wasn't perfectly clear. I suspect using a tablet instead of scanning pencil-and-ink is making him even more artistically lazy than he used to be.

  7. Seriously?

    Wow. We are recognized critics!

    Muhahahahahah

  8. Being recognized critics means that we're one step closer to being "notable" or whatever it is that you have to be to get into a Wikipedia article. Soon those wikipedia douchebags won't have anymore excuses to keep this blog out of the "XKCD" article.

  9. ... and that's all that matters, right Fred?

  10. Fred's right, if a webcomic is notable enough to get away with vandalizing wikipedia, so should their foremost critic.

  11. School's going up, won't be called xkcd.

  12. The funny thing is that this incredibly stupid site relies entirely on xkcd.

I must say dont find the comic to be very funny (or comprehensible), but this entire site is just hilariously ridiculous

    Please, continue to amuse me

  13. of course we will, because this is all just for your benefit and we wouldn't DREAM of doing otherwise.

  14. You say Randall is lazy. Hello, where's the review for 647? Hypocrisy is baaaaad.

  15. Until Monday's comic goes up, Carl's not really obligated to post just yet.

    ReplyDelete
  16. especially since this is Aloria's guest week and also SOP for Carl.

  17. it's not hypocrisy because a) posting before the next comics goes up is my goal, nothing else, and b) this is nowhere close to my full time job, so I am not trying to be professional in the least.

  18. "The funny thing is that this incredibly stupid site relies entirely on xkcd."

    Well duh you dumb fuck.

    ReplyDelete
  19. and xkcd relies entirely on 4chan and reddit.

    OH SNAP.

  20. I do have a bit of a problem with how this site criticizes Randall for his occasional poor timing and then sets a goal of getting its criticism up in the next 48 hours. Especially since by the time the criticisms come up most people are reading the next comic and talking about that in comments.

I guess I'll go post it on xkcdsuckssucks. After all, we have procedures for this type of thing.

  21. Surely you don't want me to just post as soon as I can, do you? My posts require time and effort and research and things of that nature; to hurry me along would be to say that I should stop the attention to detail that I have long been known for.

    or something.

  22. also xkcd gave us reason to pick on its tardiness when it had "updates at midnight without fail" or whatever
